Since, according to the learned advocate for the petitioner, the aforesaid inaction forms the basis for the challenge, I am of the view that there is no scope to entertain the present writ petition before this Court at the first instance having regard to the judgment delivered in the case of L. Chandra Kumar vs. Union of India & Ors. reported in 1997(3) SCC 261. 3. At this stage, the learned advocate for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition with 2 WPA 22400 of 2026 liberty to approach the appropriate forum, in accordance with law. 4.
