The petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Bhadrak Basudevpur P.S. Case No.84 of 2026 corresponding to G.R. Case No.152 of 2026 registered for the alleged commission of the offences punishable under Sections 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, Section 7 of the Orissa Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1980 read with Sections 3(5)/303(2)/317(2) of the BNS, 2023, pending in the Court of the learned J.M.F.C., Basudevpur. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instruction from the petitioner, submits that except the present bail application, no other bail application of the petitioner is pending in any other Court relating to the aforesaid F.I.R. 4. In the present case, the F.I.R. has been registered recently in 2026 and the petitioner by apprehending arrest, has approached this Court by filing the present bail application although the investigation is at the nascent stage. 5. I am not inclined to entertain the present bail application at this stage, however, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below on or before 15.05.2026 and move regular bail application. If such bail application is moved by the petitioner before the concerned Court, the same shall be considered on its merit in accordance with law on the same day by the courts below. 6.
