JUSTICE JAYANT BANERJI) When the matter was listed on 18.09.2026, the following order was passed: "The contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 20.03.2024 in W.P.No.6437/2024. - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010095302025 NC: 2026:KHC:51409-DB CCC No. 168 of 2025 In the order of 20.03.2024, noticing the representation dated 30.09.2021 moved by the complainants, requesting for allotment of a site in terms of 50:50 prescribed therein, the complainants were directed to furnish a fresh representations, which was directed to be considered and disposed of within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. A compliance affidavit has been filed on 12.09.2025 by R.Manjunath/accused No.2 which reflects that the endorsement has been made observing that, a resolution of the Board of the Authority regarding the allocation of land in the ratio of 50:50 in the Government order is quashed and ordered in accordance with the powers conferred under Section 67 of the Karnataka Urban Development Authorities Act, 1987. It is further stated that in the Government letter, it has been directed that no decision shall be taken in such cases till the Government prepares guidelines on allotment of plots and provision of land as land compensation. Accordingly, it has observed that at present there is no opportunity to consider the appeal as per the Rules. Though the endorsement is worded strangely, given the direction and import of the order of the writ Court, we find that the representation has been considered and a decision taken. However, it appears that no apology has been tendered. Learned Counsel for the accused seeks a short adjournment, to enable her to obtain instructions in the matter. List on 19.09.2026." 2. Today affidavits are filed in Court on behalf of accused No.2 and the present Commissioner of Mysuru Development Authority which have been perused by us.
