Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an online application dated 18.05.2026 to conduct survey and fix the boundaries of the petitioner’s land situated at Bommasamudram Agraharam, Senthamangalam Taluk, Comprised in Old S.No.281/1, New S.No.281/88 measuring an extent of 743 Sq.ft.,. However, the same was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government’s Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submitted that the petitioner’s application dated 18.05.2026 will be considered within a period of eight weeks. 4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 18.05.2026 and carry out a survey and complete the process, after giving prior notice to the petitioner and other aggrieved parties, if any, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 23614 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 6. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent to conduct a survey and lay boundary stones at the subject land. In the event any dispute arises regarding the possession of the subject property, the same has to be decided by way of filing a suit before the competent Civil Court. 7.
