D/L- 11 18/09/2026 Ct. No.- 6 Aritra C.O. 3092 of 2026
Ruhul Amin Vs. Tusi Ghosh
Mr. Ramkrishna Bhattacharjee Mr. Kaushik Choudhury Mr. D. Panda ….for the petitioner
Petitioner has challenged the award passed by the Special Lok Adalat on July 18, 2026. It appears that both the parties were present along with their learned advocates before the Special Lok Adalat and both the parties have agreed to compound the offence of cheque bounce case pending between them. This Court is not inclined to entertain a challenge thrown to an award passed by the Special Lok Adalat under Article 227 of the Constitution of India as it appears that the orders were passed before the Special Lok Adalat on consent, CO 3092 of 2026 stands disposed of. It is, however, made clear that this order shall not preclude the petitioner from working out his remedies in accordance with law. There will be no order as to costs. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
