LAKSHMANA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 1819/2026 ORDER: Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity, “BNSS”) by the Petitioner/Accused No.6, seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.214 of 2025 on the file of Krosuru Police Station, Palnadu District, registered for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 79, 115(2), and 351(2) read with Section 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity, „the BNS). 2. Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. 3. Sri A. Sai Rohith, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State, submits that no prima facie case is made out against the Petitioner/Accused No.6. Therefore, the Investigating Officer addressed a requisition to the Sub- Divisional Police Officer seeking appropriate permission. 4. In view of the above, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Liberty is granted to the Petitioner to approach this Court if the de facto complainant files a protest petition before the learned Magistrate and any adverse orders are passed therein.
