This is an office reference. 2. This Court, vide order dated 07.05.2025 passed in MCRC No. 3543 of 2025, while allowing the bail of the applicant, namely, Maidul Shaikh had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of that order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on one occasion also this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 07.05.2025. 4. The learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Gharghoda, District-Raigarh KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 16.03.2026 has requested for grant of six months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that the trial has not been concluded within the stipulated period due to various reasons, on 27/02/2026, at the stage of prosecution evidence, the accused Debojyoti Bhattacharya remained absent and as she is a resident of West Bengal, securing her presence for the purpose of recording remaining prosecution evidence is likely to consume considerable time, further, from time to time, interlocutory applications are being filed by both the prosecution as well as the defence, which are required to be adjudicated before proceeding further, moreover, the supplementary challan against 07 co- accused, who are yet to be arrested in the present case, has not been filed till date and proceedings against them are also required to be undertaken and in addition to the above, as many as 07 prosecution witnesses are yet to be examined, and therefore, due to the aforesaid circumstances, the trial could not be concluded within time, hence, extension of six months’ time is humbly prayed for to complete the prosecution evidence and conclude the trial in accordance with law. 6. 6. The request made by the learned trial Court, is allowed, however, instead of granting six months, this Court deems it appropriate to grant further 04 months time for concluding the trial from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
