Seraikella, District Seraikella – Kharsawan (Jharkhand) .... .... …. Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand .... .... .... Opp. Party CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE GAUTAM KUMAR CHOUDHARY For the Petitioner : Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sinha, Advocate For the State : Mr. Achinto Sen, A.P.P. ------ Order No.03 / Dated : 30.01.2026 Bail petition filed on behalf of the petitioner- Sagar Lohar, who is in custody since 16.12.2023 in connection with S.T. No.116 of 2024 arising out of Seraikella P.S. Case No. 0161 of 2023 corresponding to G.R. No.87 of 2024 for the offence registered under Section 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-B)(a)/25(6)/25(8)/26/35 of the Arms Act pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Seraikella, is pressed into motion. Earlier bail application of this petitioner was rejected twice by this Court on the ground of recovery of arms and criminal antecedents of thirty cases pending against the Petitioner. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that out of 27 cases, he has been acquitted in 18 cases and in seven cases he is on bail and at present he is in custody for more than two years in this case. As per the stage of trial received from the learned trial Court, out of seven witnesses, three have been examined. Learned A.P.P. opposed the bail petition. Considering the nature of offence, criminal antecedents and stage of trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, is hereby, rejected. (Gautam Kumar Choudhary, J.) Anit Uploaded 31.01.2025
