Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case for alleged recovery of 144.590 Kg. Ganja from at least 10 persons. Additionally it has been submitted that the present petitioner is suffering from certain gynecological/ medical ailment. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail in view of commercial quantity of contraband has been seized. Having considered the quantum of recovery of the contraband in the present case, I am of the view that the provision of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
2 The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1321 of 2025, is, thus, dismissed. In view of the issue relating to medical ailments having been pointed out on behalf of the petitioner, if application is made before the learned Trial Court, the learned Trial Court would pass necessary direction upon the jail authority. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
