ORAL ORDER
1. Accused No.1 in Crime No.165/2026 registered by Yelawala Police Station, Mysuru, for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 54, 109, 351(2) and 3(5) of BNS, 2023, is before this Court in this petition filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023, seeking regular bail. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.165/2026 was registered by Yelawala Police Station, Mysuru, for the aforesaid offences against the petitioner and others based on the first information dated 05.07.2026 received from Kiran, who is one of the injured victims in the present case. During the course of investigation, petitioner was arrested on 06.07.2026 and remanded to judicial custody. His bail application filed before the jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl.Misc.No.1176/2026 was rejected on
05.08.2026. Therefore, he is before this Court. 4. A reading of the first information would reveal that first informant is a driver by avocation. On 05.07.2026, first informant and his friends had gathered near a chicken shop of

his friend and at that time, one passenger auto which came from Sagarakatte dashed against a goods auto and the drivers of the said vehicles were quarrelling with each other. First informant and his friends tried to intervene since the flow of traffic was blocked because of the quarrel between two drivers. It is alleged that the inmates of the passenger auto got down from the said vehicle and after quarreling with the first informant and his friends, assaulted them with a knife. It is in this background, FIR was registered against the petitioner and his friends, who were the inmates of the offending auto rickshaw. Learned HCGP has brought to the notice of this Court that injured victims have suffered only simple injuries in the incident in question. Considering the aforesaid aspects of the matter, the following order:-
5. The petition is allowed.
The petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in Crime No.165/2026 registered by Yelawala Police Station, Mysuru, for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 54, 109, 351(2) and 3(5) of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions:

a) Petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court;
b) The petitioner shall appear regularly on all the dates of hearing before the Trial Court unless the Trial Court exempts his appearance for valid reasons;
c) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly threaten or tamper with the prosecution witnesses;
d) The petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future;
e) The petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of the Trial Court without permission of the said Court until the case registered against him is
disposed off.
