Trivedi, AC to SC-VII ------ 2/13.03.2026 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of Petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. 2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Khelgaon P.S. Case No. 86 of 2022, registered under Sections 406/420/467/468/471/120(B) IPC, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner happened to be the Bank Manager of Indian Bank of Tatisilwai Branch and the allegation is made of clearing of four cheques presented by another person. He next submits that the person who has submitted the checks, he has been granted anticipatory bail in ABA No.11140 of 2022. He also submits that petitioner is not named in the FIR and only allegation is made against the post i.e. ‘Bank Manager’. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that petitioner is the Bank Manager of Indian Bank. 5. Considering that the person, who has submitted the cheques, he has been granted anticipatory bail in aforesaid ABA, the name of the 2026:JHHC:6740 2 petitioner is not disclosed, only the post has been stated in the FIR, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from the date of receipt of the order and on the event of his surrender / arrest, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount of each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi, in connection with Khelgaon P.S. Case No. 86 of 2022, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. 7.
