By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs: “i) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari set-aside the impugned Termination order dated 06.12.2025, issued by respondent no. 3(Annexure No. 3 to the writ petition), by which the services of the petitioner has been Terminated on the post of Security Supervisor. ii) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to reinstate the services of the petitioner on the post of Security Supervisor and pay him regular salary with all consequential benefits.” 3. The order impugned in the writ petition is on record as Annexure-3 to the writ petition. The same was passed by Joint Director, Labour Welfare on behalf of Vice Chancellor of the University. 4. Perusal of said order reveals that petitioner was engaged through outsourcing in the University but subsequently, he was 2026:UHC:1257 sponsored for engagement in some other organisation and the University did not terminate services of petitioner. Since the outsourcing agency has sponsored petitioner for engagement elsewhere, same cannot be termed as termination. Learned counsel for the University is, therefore, justified in submitting that writ petition is misconceived and it is not a case of termination. 5. Thus there is no scope for interference. The writ petition fails and is dismissed.
