Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the recorded owner of the plot in question which was permitted to be converted from danga to bastu. The petitioner filed an application before the concerned Panchayat authority on 8th July, 2025 for grant of sanctioned plan for construction of residential house in the plot. The application is pending. In view of the above, the Pradhan, Amrasota Gram Panchayat, being the 3rd respondent herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner dated 8th July, 2025 within four weeks from the date of communication of this order upon affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioner, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. 2 The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.
