ORAL ORDER
The present writ petition is filed seeking the following prayer:
“a) ISSUE A WRIT OF MANDAMUS or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, commanding Respondent Nos.1 and 2 to immediately reschedule_and conduct the Petitioner's Light Motor Vehicle driving test under Application No. 2575220126, permitting the use of an autowmatic transmission vehicle. b) ISSUE A WRIT OF MANDAMUS or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, directing Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to issue binding administrative instructions across all Regional Transport Offices in Karnataka enforcing strict compliance with Rule 139 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 regarding the mandatory acceptance of electronic vehicle documents. C) ISSUE A WRIT OF MANDAMUS directing Respondent Nos.1 and 2 to ensure that direct applicants are permitted to share or borrow

eligible test vehicles on the track on par with candidates appearing through Driving schools.
d) PASS such other order or directions as this Honourable Court deems fit in the interest of justice and equity.”
2. On 11.09.2026, this Court has asked the learned counsel for the petitioner how the writ petition can be filed with such a prayer. He sought time to get instructions, and this matter was adjourned to today. When the matter came up today, learned AGA submitted that the petitioner had participated in the driving test. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner also doesn’t dispute the same. Hence, the writ petition has become infructuous. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. 5.
