2026:JHHC:2370 Page | 1 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI Cr. M.P. No. 31 of 2026 ------ Maimuddin Sk. @ Moinuddin Shekh, aged about 60 years, Son of Late Atar Sk. @ Atar Mondal, Resident of Mouza Silampur, PO- Maheshpur Sub Division, PS-Maheshpur, District-Pakur, Jharkhand. … … Petitioner(s) Versus The State of Jharkhand … … Opposite Party(s) ------ CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Sumit Gautam, Advocate Mr. Anjani Kumar, Advocate For the Respondent(s): Mr. Rajesh Kumar, APP ------ 02/ 30th January, 2026 1. By filing this criminal miscellaneous petition, the petitioner prays for modification of order dated 02.07.2025 passed in A.B.A. No.6786 of 2024. 2. It is the contention of the petitioner that in the memo of the anticipatory bail application, the name of the petitioner is mentioned as Maimuddin Sk, son of Late Atar Sk @ Atar Mondal. The said anticipatory bail application was allowed mentioning his name as Maimuddin Sk in the order dated 02.07.2025. However, the petitioner was not allowed to furnish his bail bond in the Court below due to the reason that in the Aadhar Card, the name of the petitioner is mentioned as Moinuddin Shekh. The petitioner claims that he is also known as Moinuddin Shekh. 3. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, since an enquiry needs be made, I direct the petitioner to appear before the S.D.J.M, Pakur who will make an enquiry and will come to a conclusion whether this petitioner- Maimuddin Sk. and Moinuddin Shekh are the same person or not. 4. On being satisfied that both the names are of the same person, the bail bond of this petitioner should be accepted. Till the enquiry process is concluded, the petitioner should not be arrested 2026:JHHC:2370 Page | 2 and will regularly appear before the Trial Court as and when required. 5. Accordingly, this Cr.M.P. is disposed of. (ANANDA SEN, J.) 30.01.2026 S.K.D. cp-2 Uploaded on 02.02.2026
