ORDER This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to accord police protection for bringing materials and machinery to the petitioner's crusher unit that is being installed at the premises in survey number 52/1C, 54/1 and 54/2 Jeyankondanilai Village, Singampunari Taluk, Sivagangai District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2026.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has installed a crusher unit after getting necessary permission from the concerned authorities. Against the running of the petitioner's crusher unit, the fourth respondent has filed a Public Interest Litigation before this Court and the same was dismissed. No.3302 of 2026 materials are brought to the petitioner's crusher unit, the fourth respondent himself and by his henchmen causing obstruction to the vehicles and making threats to the petitioner to stop the running of crusher unit. Therefore, the petitioner had sent a representation dated
08.06.2026. However, no proper action was taken and hence, this petition is filed.
3. Learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner's complaint has been received and enquiry is pending on the petitioner's complaint. It will be concluded shortly.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials before this Court. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against the fourth respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the second respondent police is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2026 and conduct an enquiry in this regard, after issuing summons to the parties concerned, under Section 64 of the BNSS, and conclude the same, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
