The petition is filed seeking a mandamus directing the second respondent to initiate proceedings subsequent to the matter being remitted back to it by this Court in W.P.No.6094/2005 (SC-ST) dated:11.01.2007 vide Annexure-B and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law by issuing notice to the parties concerned. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that, despite the order of remand, the proceedings have not been taken up by the Assistant Commissioner. Taking note of the grievance of the petitioner, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the Assistant Commissioner to take up the case and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, preferably within an outer limit of one month from the receipt of a certified copy of this order. 5.
