Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam as well as Mr. A H M R Choudhury, the learned counsel appearing for the Page No.# 2/2 respondent No. 2. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre-arrest bail in respect of Special (POCSO) Case No. 04/2026 (corresponding to G.R.Case No.1757/2025) pending in the Court of the learned Special Judge (POCSO), Cachar, Silchar. 3. The petitioner, namely, Mannan Ahmed Laskar @ Mannan Hussain Laskar is shown as absconder in the charge sheet. He now, apprehends that if he appear before the learned trial court, he will be remanded to custody. 4. Mr. Sulaiman has submitted that the petitioner is interested in facing the trial and therefore, the petitioner should be given adequate opportunities to that effect. 5. Today, Mr. Choudhury has submitted that he has no objection, if the bail prayer of the petitioner, is allowed. 6. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 7. This Court is of the opinion that since the petitioner is interested in facing the trial, he deserves to be given adequate opportunities to that effect. Therefore, his Anticipatory Bail Application is allowed. 8. It is hereby directed that the petitioner Mannan Ahmed Laskar @ Mannan Hussain Laskar shall appear before the trial court of the learned Special Judge (POCSO), Cachar, Silchar within next 10 (ten) days from today. On his appearance, the petitioner Mannan Ahmed Laskar @ Mannan Hussain Laskar shall be released on bail of ₹25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge (POCSO), Cachar, Silchar. 9. With the aforesaid direction, this Anticipatory Bail Application stands disposed of accordingly. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
