1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.
2. The petitioner is aggrieved that he has been demobilized after rendering services as a Civic Volunteer in the Kolkata Police Force.
3. The allegations against the petitioner are extremely serious and severe in nature. The First Information Report disclosed with a report filed by the authorities, produced by Mr. Bajpayee, learned Advocate appearing for the State, is taken on record. As it will appear from the copy of the First Information Report appended to such report, charges leveled against the petitioner are such that the petitioner does not qualify for any consideration at all. The charges relate to the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012

(in short ‘POCSO’). The child has thereafter suffered burn injuries and succumbed to such fatalities.
4. The order of demobilization of the petitioner dated June 13, 2026 cannot be interfered with in the present circumstances.
5. The writ petition accordingly fails and is dismissed.
6. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis.
