4. This petition is filed to quash the order dated 19.08.2026 passed by the LXIV Additional Sessions Judge (CCH-65), Bengaluru, in S.C.No.801/2026, wherein the petitioners' bonds have been forfeited on the ground that they have failed to furnish the surety in terms of the order granting bail.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that there was a delay of one day in furnishing the surety as the person offering the surety was not keeping well.
6. This Court has considered the contentions raised in the petition.
7. It is evident that the impugned order is passed forfeiting the bonds executed by the petitioners, on the ground that the petitioners have not furnished surety of `50,000/- each. It is true that there is a delay in furnishing the surety.
8. However, considering the fact that the petitioners are ready to furnish the surety, though there is a delay, same can be accepted by condoning the delay for the cause shown. The Digitally Signed by ANANT RAMNATH HEGDE
