Chowdhury ….for the State. 1. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of petitioner is taken on record. 2. It is submitted by learned advocates representing petitioner and State respondents that based on complaint lodged a Zero FIR being Titagarh Police Station Zero FIR No.018/26 dated 7th September, 2026 was registered and same was transmitted to Serampore Police Station, Hooghly for investigation. 3. It is submitted on behalf of the State respondents that alleged offence was reported to have been committed under Serampore Police Station and consequently Serampore Police Station Case No.529/26 dated 8th September, 2026 was initiated. 4. In view of steps taken by concerned police authorities, no further order need be passed on this writ petition and same stands disposed of. 5. However, police authorities are directed to investigate the case and take the same to its logical conclusion by submitting report before jurisdictional Magistrate. 6.
