16.09.2026 Court No.35. D/L.41. Rakib (Allowed) CRM (NDPS) 1954 of 2026 In Re: An Application for Bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973/Under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Lalgola Police Station case no. 835 of 2024 dated 12.08.2024 under Sections 21(C)/29 of the NDPS Act. And In the matter of : Sabir Ahamed @ Sabir Ahammed ……Petitioner. Mr. Arnab Chatterjee Ms. Ankusha Ghosh ......for the Petitioner. Mr. Ayan Basu Mr. Gautam Banerjee ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is similarly situated as other accused person who has been granted bail in CRM (NDPS) 1032 of 2026. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail but is unable to refute the contention that the petitioner is not similarly placed as the other accused person who has been granted bail. Having considered the materials appearing against the other accused and the present petitioner, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail on same terms and conditions as was imposed upon Odud Sk in CRM (NDPS) 1032 of 2026. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner namely, Sabir Ahamed @ Sabir Ahammed is allowed. Thus, CRM (NDPS) 1954 of 2026 is allowed. 2 All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
