1. The revisional application has been preferred challenging an order dated 06.11.2024, passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court at Barrackpore, Dist.-North 24 Parganas, in M. Case No. 714 of 2024.
2. Vide the impugned order, the learned Magistrate has granted interim maintenance of Rs.3,000/- per month in favour of the petitioner/wife herein.
3. Being aggrieved, the petitioner has preferred the revisional application praying for enhancement of the maintenance allowance.
4. It appears that the marriage between the parties subsisted only for about 47 days.
5. The contention of the opposite party/husband is that the wife/petitioner herein has a graduation degree on Zoology (Honours) and is also a professional painter and drawing teacher having an income of her own.
6. Affidavit-of-assets and liabilities were filed before the trial Court.

7. The learned trial Court considering the said status of the parties, granted the interim maintenance of Rs.3,000/-.
8. Considering the fact that the Misc. Case is still pending disposal, in the interest of justice, the interim maintenance is enhanced to a sum of Rs.5,000/- per month considering that prima facie the petitioner/wife also has an income of her own.
9. The revisional application stands disposed of.
10. Learned trial Court is directed to dispose of the Misc. Case expeditiously and shall be at liberty to pass an order of quantum of maintenance as deemed fit and proper on the basis of the materials on record without being influenced by any observations in this order.
11. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
