And In the matter of : Bharati Bhowmick ……Petitioner. Mr. Debabrata Acharyya Mr. Sital Samanta ……for the Petitioner. Mr. Krishnendu Bhattacharya, Ld. APP Ms. Priti Mar Bagchi ….for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is the mother-in-law who has been foisted with the present criminal case. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. Case diary is produced. As such, prayer for anticipatory bail is allowed. As such, I direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner, namely, Bharati Bhowmick, be released on bail subject to the satisfaction of the investigating officer/arresting officer of the case and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. and/or under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. As charge sheet has already been submitted before the jurisdictional Court, this order of anticipatory bail will remain valid for a period of 6 weeks from date.
