The petitioner contends that the coconut tree was situated on his plot of land. The private respondents, along with members of the Panchayat, have cut down the tree. However, this Court finds no involvement of the Panchayat in the matter. The dispute is purely private in nature, and there is no scope for this Court to pass any order in the present writ petition. The report filed by the State shall be kept on record. Accordingly, W.P.A. 29279 of 2025 is dismissed. 2 This dismissal shall not preclude the petitioner from approaching the appropriate forum for redressal of their grievance. (Kausik Chanda, J.)
