1. Mr. Gaurav Singh, learned counsel for the applicant.
2. Mr. Sandeep Sharma, learned A.G.A. with Mrs. Rangoli Purohit, learned Brief Holder for the State.
3. The applicant ‘Afjal’ is praying for anticipatory bail in reference to First Information Report dated 12.01.2025 bearing FIR No. 12 of 2025 P.S. Kotwali Gangnahar Roorkee, District Haridwar, wherein, the present applicant has been implicated for the offence punishable under sections 105, 125(b), 324(3) of BNS, 2023.
4. The Coordinate Bench granted interim protection to the applicant by granting interim bail subject to certain conditions.
5. Now, the counter affidavit has been filed, wherein, it is stated that the charge-sheet has been filed and the conditions as stipulated while granting interim bail was never been misused by the applicant.
6. After hearing the arguments of learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of the allegations and the fact that the charge-sheet has been filed, this court is of the view that the interim protection granted by the Coordinate Bench should be made absolute.
7. In such view of the matter, the instant anticipatory bail application is disposed of finally and the interim protection granted by the Coordinate Bench dated 22.05.2025 is made absolute.
