For Petitioner(s): Mr.M.Ramesh For Respondent(s): Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, Government’s Counsel for R1 & 2 ORDER This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner’s online applications dated 17.03.2026 and 27.03.2026, respectively. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an online applications dated 17.03.2026 and 27.03.2026 to conduct survey Demarcation and place boundary stones and complete the process with respect of the property comprised in survey No.5/1E1C1 at an extent of Hect.0-1.38 Ares and in survey No.94/8D1B, at extent of Hect.0-4.46 ares situate at Sithapattinam Revenue village, Manalurpet post, Vanapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District. However, the same was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government’s Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2 and submitted that the petitioner’s applications dated 17.03.2026 and 27.03.2026 will be considered within a period of eight weeks. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 23164 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's online applications dated 17.03.2026 and 27.03.2026 and carry out a survey and complete the process, after giving prior notice to the petitioner and other aggrieved parties, if any within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent to conduct a survey and lay boundary stones at the subject land. In the event any dispute arises regarding the possession of the subject property, the same has to be decided by way of filing a suit before the competent Civil Court. 7. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
