1. Pursuant to order dated 7th September, 2026 writ petition is taken up for consideration in presence of learned advocates representing parties when Mr. Das, learned Additional Government Pleader files a communication dated 19th September, 2026 of Inspector-in- Charge, Sonarpur Police Station and same is taken on record. Copy of said communication dated 19th September, 2026 be made over to learned advocate representing petitioner.
2. It is disclosed in the communication dated 19th September, 2026 that concerned authority of Sonarpur Police Station has closed down gate, grill and almirah manufacturing unit due to
2 want of “consent to establish”/“consent to operate” under “green category” taking note of order passed by the West Bengal Pollution Control Board on 19th March, 2026. It is also disclosed that concerned police authorities are keeping vigil over the locale where grill manufacturing unit situates.
3. Police authorities are directed to keep close watch whether said grill manufacturing unit is functioning or not and in the event it is found that without necessary permission said unit is functioning, further steps shall be taken to closed down the said unit. Petitioner is also granted liberty to inform the concerned police authorities in the event it is found that grill manufacturing unit is functioning for taking steps by the police authorities.
4. With the aforesaid directions writ petition stands disposed of.
