Mr. Sushil Kumar, learned counsel holding the brief of Mr. Gaurav Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. Mr. Bhaskar Chandra Joshi, learned A.G.A. with Mrs. Sweta Badola Dobhal, learned Brief Holder for the State. 3. By the instant petition the petitioners are praying for the following reliefs: i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned FIR lodged by the respondent no. 3 on 20.02.2026 registered as FIR No. 116 of 2026 for the offences punishable under section 3/5/11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007, Police Station Manglour, District Haridwar against the petitioners (contained as annexure no. 1 to the writ petition) qua the present petitioners. ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent nos. 1 and 2 not to arrest the petitioner and not take any coercive measure against the petitioners in pursuance to the impugned FIR dated 20.02.2026 registered as FIR No. 116 of 2026 for the offences punishable under section 3/5/11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007, Police Station Manglour, District Haridwar against the petitioner (contained as annexure no. 1 to the writ petition) qua the present petitioners. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are ready to surrender before the court concerned but since the Ramzan are going on, therefore, they may be given some protection during this period. 5. Learned A.G.A. have not raised any objection. 6. In such view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the petitioners to surrender before the court concerned on or before 27.03.2026.
