Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the subject matter in the present case is recovery of 147 bottles of phensedyl. In the present case charge has already been framed. 2. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. 3. Having considered the period of detention of the present petitioners, which is more than nine months, and the fact that charges have already been framed, I am of the view that further detention of the petitioners is unwarranted. 4. As such, the prayer for bail is allowed. 5. Accordingly, the petitioners viz, Nur Alam and Sajjad Ali @ Sajat Ali shall be released on bail upon furnishing 2 bond of Rs.20,000/-each, with two sureties of Rs.10,000/-, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Judge, Special Court under the NDPS Act at Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur. 6. If on bail, the petitioners shall be physically present on each and every date so fixed by the learned Special Court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of the district of Uttar Dinajpur without prior permission of the learned Special Court. 7. The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 197 of 2026 is, thus, disposed of. 8. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
