The ESI corporation intended to !le appeal against the judgment and order passed by the ESI Court in ESI Application No.67 of 2023, whereby the learned ESI Court granted funeral expenses to the heirs of the deceased Ranjitsinh Zala in tune of Rs.5000/-. 2. The condonation of delay is sought on the ground that the ESI corporation was in process of getting the opinion whether to be granted funeral expenses after a huge delay or not. 3. Learned advocate Mr. Shah for the applicant places on record the document stating that amount of Rs.5000/- has C/CA/1230/2026 ORDER DATED: 17/03/2026 been paid to the legal heir of the deceased. 4. In view of above, without entering into the merits of the case, since the amount involved in the appeal is Rs.5000/- being very meager, no purpose is survived in granting the condonation of delay application and hence, present CA stands dismissed. 5. Accordingly, registration of First Appeal stands refused. 6. Consequently, CA for stay does not survive and stands disposed of accordingly. 7.
