In W.P.(S) No. 1484 of 2021, this Court had passed an order on 21.03.2023 directing the respondent No. 2 in the writ petition to consider afresh the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment in the light of the observations made in the preceding paragraphs of the said order. Mr. Indranil Bhaduri, learned S.C.-IV has submitted at the bar a copy of the order No. 64/2025 dated 20.09.2025 from which it appears that the appointment letter has already been issued in favour of the petitioner. The same consequently renders this contempt application infructuous on account of the compliance of the order dated 21.03.2023 passed in W.P.(S) No. 1484 of 2021. This application stands disposed of.
