Malakar, learned counsel for the applicant. 2. This interlocutory application has been filed by the petitioner, namely, Sohin Basumatary in connection with the Bail Application No. 766/2026. 3. In this interlocutory application, the applicant has prayed for allowing the petitioner to be released on interim bail for only three days to enable him to Page No.# 2/2 attend the Shradha Ceremony of his deceased mother which is scheduled to be held on 29th of March, 2026. In support of the contentions regarding death of the mother of the petitioner on 15.03.2026, the petitioner has annexed certificate issued by the Government Lat Gaonburah of the Lat-Lailangpara, Sarbaherua, Gerua Gaon. 4. Though, the petitioner has been detained in connection with the offence under Section 20(b)(ii)(c) of the NDPS Act, 1985 in connection with Noonmati P.S. Case No. 64/2025, however, considering the grounds stated by the petitioner in the instant application, the petitioner is allowed to go on interim bail for 4(four) days i.e., till 1st of April, 2026, on furnishing a bond of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) with one surety of like amount, subject to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge No. 1, Kamrup(M), Guwahati, with following conditions:- (i) That the petitioner shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person who may be acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade such person from disclosing such facts of the case before the Investigating Officer; (ii) That the petitioner shall co-operate in the investigation; (iii) That the petitioner shall surrender before the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge No. 1, Kamrup(M), Guwahati on 1st of April, 2026, who shall remand him to judicial custody thereafter. 5.
