1. The petitioner is serving in a school with zero enrolment. The District Inspector of Schools, Secondary Education, Murshidabad vide communication dated 7th February, 2022 made a proposal before the Commissioner of School Education to transfer the petitioner to a different school on administrative ground.
2. Such proposal is pending consideration at the end of the Commission till date.
3. The petitioner prays for a direction upon the Commissioner of the School Education to dispose of the proposal for transfer.
4. The instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the Commissioner of School Education to act on the proposal made by

the District Inspector of Schools in accordance with the prevailing transfer rules and keeping in mind that the petitioner is drawing salary without imparting any education to any student as the school where the petitioner is presently posted is a zero enrolment school.
5. A decision shall be taken in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to all the necessary parties.
6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
