Mr. Raja Biswas Mr. Abhijit Sarkar …for the petitioners Mr. Ranjan Kumar Sinha Mr. Ankit Kumar Mishra …..for the State respondents 1) Affidavit of service filed on behalf of petitioner is taken on record. 2) Learned advocate representing petitioner submits that being eye witness to a murder case being Minakhan Police Station Case No. 265/15 dated 28th July, 2015 petitioner needs police protection since accused persons were enlarged on bail. 3) State respondents are represented by learned advocate who has filed a communication dated 10th September, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge of Minakhan Police Station, Basirhat Police District and same is taken on record. Copy of said communication is made over to learned advocate representing petitioner. 4) It appears that a representation was made on 25th April, 2017 addressed to concerned police authority and thereafter writ petition has been filed on 29th August, 2026, precisely after nine years. Moreover, it 2 is disclosed in communication dated 10th September, 2026 that two police camps are set up at the locale for providing protection and maintaining law and order. 5) Concerned police authorities are directed to keep vigil at the locale and to see that petitioner is not subjected to any threat. 6) With aforesaid observations and directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 7) Parties to act on server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
