During course of hearing communication dated 7th August, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge, Burdwan Police Station is filed today and same is taken on record. Copies of said communication are made over to learned advocates representing petitioner and respondent no. 7. 2. Communication dated 7th August, 2026 discloses that petitioner is presently staying with her younger son at Chandannagar and respondent no. 7 being elder son staying at the premises after the death of husband of petitioner. According to police authorities dispute cropped up concerning sale of shop room. Issue relating to sale of shop room need not be delved into while adjudicating this writ petition alleging police inaction. 2 3. If petitioner being mother of respondent no. 7 wants to stay at the house situates at Burdwan Town in that event petitioner shall be at liberty to intimate Inspector-in-Charge, Burdwan Police Station being respondent no. 6 seven days in advance for making necessary arrangement and providing protection. 4. Respondent no. 6 is also directed to take steps in the event petitioner stays at the premises at Burdwan Town which would enable the petitioner to stay there without any disturbance. 5.
