Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than 1 year 5 months and he has been implicated without any rhyme and reasons. Charges have already been framed and the evidence of the prosecution has commenced, as such, the petitioner prays for bail on any stringent conditions.
Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary and drawn the attention of the Court to the statement of the witnesses under Section 183 of the BNSS.
I have taken into account the materials which are appearing so far as the present petitioner is concerned and on an assessment of the same, I am of the view that further detention of the petitioner is unwarranted.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. The petitioner, namely, Bulbul Ahamed shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Barasat, North 24 Parganas. If on bail, the petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date fixed before the learned trial court and shall not leave the district of North 24 Parganas without the prior permission of the learned trial court.
Accordingly, CRM(M) 265 of 2026 is allowed.
