ORAL ORDER
1. Accused nos.2 & 3 are before this Court in this petition filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, seeking anticipatory bail in Crime No.151/2026 registered by Annapoorneshwari Nagar Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 316(2), 3(5) of BNS, 2023.
2. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

FIR in Crime No.151/2026 was registered by Annapoorneshewari Nagar Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the aforesaid offences against Mohan Rao and others based on the first information dated 12.05.2026 received from Suma.S., who is the alleged victim in the present case. Apprehending arrest in the said case, petitioners had approached the

jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl. Misc. No.6620/2026, which was rejected on 21.07.2026. Therefore, they are before this Court.

Learned Counsel for the petitioners and the learned Counsel for respondent no.2/defacto complainant jointly submit that the dispute between the petitioners and respondent no.2 has been settled, and the petitioners have issued 10 post-dated cheques in favour of the victim in the present case. They submit that in view of the aforesaid, the prayer made in this petition may be granted, with liberty to respondent no.2 to file application seeking cancellation of bail granted to the petitioners in the event the aforesaid cheques are dishonoured. 5. The aforesaid submission and the memo today filed by the learned Counsel for the petitioners is taken on record. 6. The allegation against the accused persons in the present case is that they had collected money from the first informant and similarly placed other victims with a promise to allot them site, and thereafter, had dishonoured their commitment. alleged that the accused persons have collected huge money from first informant and similarly situated victims. 7. It is now brought to the notice of this Court that the dispute between the petitioners herein, who are ladies and the victim's in the present case has been settled. Considering the nature of allegations found against the petitioners and also the settlement arrived between the parties, I am of the opinion that the prayer made by the petitioners' for grant of anticipatory bail is required to be answered affirmatively, subject to appropriate conditions. Accordingly, the following order:
8. The petition is allowed. The respondent - Police or any other police in the State of Karnataka are directed to release the petitioners in the event of their arrest in Crime No.151/2026 registered by Annapoorneshwari Nagar Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 316(2), 3(5) of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions:
1. The Petitioners shall appear before the Investigating Officer within 15 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and shall

execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- each with two sureties for the likesum to the satisfaction of the investigating officer. 2. Petitioners shall regularly appear before the Trial Court without fail unless exempted by the Trial Court for valid reasons. 3.
Petitioners shall not tamper with the prosecution witness and they shall co-operate with the police for investigation and appear before them whenever called upon. 4. The petitioners shall not involve in similar offences in future. 5. In the event the aforesaid cheques issued by the petitioners are dishonoured, the first informant is at liberty to seek cancellation of this bail. Sd/- (S VISHWAJITH SHETTY) JUDGE
