This petition is filed to quash the Crime No.181/2026 registered before Basaveshwara Nagar Police Station. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has collected only Rs.25,000/- from the complainant and the same is returned to the complainant. 5. Learned HCGP would submit that, there is a serious allegation of collecting a huge amount from various persons and merely because the petitioner has repaid the amount to the complainant, that does not mean that the petition has to be allowed. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, petitioner will provide all the conversations between him and the complainant to the Investigating Agency and would co-operate for investigation. Learned counsel would also submit that petitioner will produce the records relating to the repayment of the amount which petitioner has received. 7. The Court has considered these submissions and the Court is of the view that the petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer and furnish all his records in support of his defence and the Investigating Officer shall consider the same and file appropriate report.
