1. The affidavit of service filed today is taken on record.
2. The petitioner is aggrieved that his representation of September 8, 2026 has not been considered till date.
3. The petitioner has partaken in the process of recruitment of Constables in the West Bengal Police.
4. Let this writ petition be treated a representation.
5. I direct respondent no. 3 to dispose of the representation of the petitioner by October 10, 2026 by passing a reasoned order thereof, upon giving hearing to the petitioner after giving adequate prior notice. The reasoned order will be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof.
6. The petitioner will be at liberty to submit all and prevalent notifications and decisions at the time of hearing.

7. I make it clear that this consideration of the representation will not create any right and equity in favour of the petitioner, if he does not have such right in law.
8. With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
9. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
10. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis.
