Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than 3 months and 20 days and charge sheet has already been submitted.
Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits there are substantial materials to charge the petitioner for abatement in respect of the offence committed.
Having regard to the period of detention of the present petitioner and the time which will be consumed for conclusion of the trial, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed.
2 Petitioner, namely, Mamon Sk. @ Safik shall furnish bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) with two sureties of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each. One of whom must be local to the satisfaction of Learned ACJM, Arambagh, Hooghly.
If on bail petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date fixed by the learned Court in seisin of the case and shall not leave the jurisdiction of District of Hooghly without the prior permission of the learned ACJM, Arambagh, Hooghly.
Accordingly, CRM (M) 75 of 2026 is allowed.
All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
