Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for a considerable period of time and other accused persons similarly placed have already been granted bail. As such, the petitioner be released on bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that petitioner was fleeing away from the process of law for a considerable period of time. As such, T.I. Parade of the petitioner could not be conducted. The petitioner also intended to derail the investigation. However, having regard to the conduct of the present petitioner, at this stage, it does not inspire confidence of this 2 Court that if he is released on bail, he will not flee away from the process of law. Consequently, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage. Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. Case diary be returned to learned advocate for the State. The application for bail, being CRM (M) 2304 of 2025, is, thus, dismissed.
