Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for more than 2 years and 11 months. 6 witnesses till date has been examined out of 28 witnesses. Two of the accused persons have been granted bail. Petitioner as such prays for bail. Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary, drawn the attention of the Court to the statement of one of the victim under Section 164 Cr.P.C. I have taken into account the complicity of the present petitioner who was thickly involved in the offence of sexual 2 exploitation. The charges for which the petitioner is facing trial and its prescribed punishment are having severe consequences. Having regard to the same, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting bail. Learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. Accordingly, CRM (M) 2087 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
