The petitioner herein is assailing the order dated 23.09.2025 in case No.R.A.P/250/2025(Annexure-S) passed by respondent No.1, the order dated 03.05.2025 in case No.R.A./38/2025(Annexure-R) passed by respondent No.2, and the order dated 05.11.2024 in case No.RRT[Dis]/699/2024 (Annexure-Q) passed by respondent No.3, inter alia, sought for a direction to respondent No.3 to enter the name of the petitioner as per the registered sale deed dated 19.10.2024 (Annexure-P). - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010639322026 NC: 2026:KHC:51723 WP No. 29516 of 2026 2. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and taking into consideration the impugned orders at Annexures-S, R and Q would indicate that the respondent - authorities have exercised power under the provisions contained in Section 136 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (for short, 'the KLR Act'), as to enter the name of the applicants in terms of Section 128 of the KLR Act. 3. In that view of the matter, respondent - authorities cannot foresee that there will be some litigation in future and therefore decline to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records and accordingly, I find force in the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 4. In the result, I pass the following: ORDER (i) The Writ Petition is allowed. (ii) The order dated 23.09.2025 in case No.R.A.P/250/2025(Annexure-S) passed by respondent No.1, the order dated 03.05.2025 in case - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010639322026 NC: 2026:KHC:51723 WP No. 29516 of 2026 No.R.A./38/2025(Annexure-R) passed by respondent No.2, and the order dated 05.11.2024 in case No.RRT[Dis]/699/2024 (Annexure-Q) passed by respondent No.3, are hereby quashed. (iii) Respondent No.3 is directed to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records pertaining to the subject land, in terms of the registered sale deed dated 19.10.2024, within two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
