For the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been accused of possessing 2.09 Kgs. of Heroin and charge-sheet has already been submitted. However, petitioner is in custody for ten months. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail. Having considered the stage of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail as the rigours of Section 37 of the NDPS Act are attracted. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. Learned Trial Court would expedite the trial of the case by fixing regular schedule. The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1944 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed. 2 All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
