Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The instant writ application has been preferred for following relief: To extend the contract of service of the petitioners on the post of Post Graduate Trained Teachers for classes IX to XII in the various Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School under the District of Dumka, Sahebganj, Godda on same terms and conditions as contained in Letter No. 229 dated 16.02.2017, Letter No. 314 dated 07.03.2017 and Letter No. 436 dated 06.03.2017 (Annexure-3 Series) issued by respondent Nos. 7, 8 & 9 respectively in relation to appointment of Post Graduate Trained Teachers for classes IX to XII in Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School within the District Dumka, Godda and Sahebganj. 3. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that due to efflux of time, a resolution came in the year 2022 dated 06.07.2022 and further draws attention of this Court towards this resolution and submits that this is with respect to Model School and all these petitioners come from Kasturba 2026:JHHC:1953 3 Gandhi Residential Girls Schools of different districts. He further submits that when the writ was filed, the grievance of the petitioners was that in view of Annexure-1, the services of all these petitioners from contractual employee to hourly basis (Ghanti Adharit) was deemed after expiry of 31.03.2017 and as a matter of fact, from the date of issuance of this Annexure-1 which is dated 27.10.2016 till the cut-off date of 31.03.2017, the petitioners have worked for a few days. However, as per them, still regular employment has not taken place in the concerned schools of Post Graduate Trained Teachers. 4. Accordingly, relying upon the resolution dated 06.07.2022, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the respondents be directed to consider the case of individual petitioner in the light of resolution which has been issued with respect to 89 model schools wherein the hourly basis has been converted to monthly regular contractual basis. 5. Learned counsel reiterated that during pendency of this writ application, now very few teachers are working; as such, the respondents be directed to consider their case in the light of resolution dated 06.07.2022. 6. Learned counsel for the interveners submits that still, regular teachers under P.G.T., has not been appointed. 7. Learned counsel for the State seeks further time to ascertain this statement. 8. However, looking to the limited prayer of the petitioner and after going through the resolution issued under Memo No. 2026:JHHC:1953 4 1842 dated 06.07.2022 which has been issued by the department with respect to 89 model schools by converting the teachers from hourly basis to contractual basis; interest of justice would be sufficed by disposing of the instant writ application and giving liberty to the petitioner/s to approach the 2nd respondent. 9. If the regular teachers (P.G.T.) has not yet been appointed in the concerned schools as stated by learned counsel for the petitioners/interveners, then the 2nd respondent, after receipt of representation/s, shall look into the matter and take a decision in the background of the resolution dated 06.07.2022 which has been issued with respect to 89 model schools for converting the services of the employees who were employed on hourly basis to a monthly contractual wage. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks and the order shall be communicated to those petitioner/s, who approaches the 2nd respondent. 10.
