In terms of order dated 12th August, 2026 Inspector-in- Charge, Rahara Police Station, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate has filed a communication dated 9th September, 2026 and same is taken on record. Copy of communication dated 9th September, 2026 is made over to learned advocate representing petitioner. 2. Since a case was made out that petitioner after being enlarged on bail was threatened and beaten up by local goons while he was staying at his own residence, concerned police authorities were directed to take steps in order to enable petitioner to stay at his residence. 3. It is disclosed in communication dated 9th September, 2026 that police personnel have been patrolling at the area regularly where petitioner resides and making local people aware of pendency of this writ petition and petitioner’s right to stay at his residence on being enlarged on bail. Police personnel regularly went to residence of petitioner in order to provide protection. 4. In view of such steps taken by concerned police authorities, writ petition is disposed of thereby directing police authorities to take steps which would facilitate petitioner to stay at his residence. 5.
