Mr. Shrikant Purohit, learned counsel for respondent nos. 2 & 3. 4. According to petitioner, he was engaged as Seasonal Labourer at Kichha Sugar Company Ltd. in 2006, and in 2016, his designation was changed to Watchman, however, the fact remains that he is serving continuously since 2006. 5. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: - (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding and directing the respondents to grant the petitioner permanent status by regularizing the services of the petitioner on the post of Permanent Watchman with effect from the date the persons junior to the petitioner has been made permanent Watchman in the respondent sugar mill. 6. Mr. Shrikant Purohit, learned counsel appearing for respondent nos. 2 & 3 submits that if petitioner has any grievance regarding non-consideration of his claim for regularisation, then he could have approached the Competent Authority by making representation. 2026:UHC:1750 7. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has already made a representation to the Competent Authority on 30.01.2026. He submits that Competent Authority be directed to take decision on the representation. 8. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to Executive Director, Kichha Sugar Company Ltd. to take decision on petitioner’s representation, as per law, within six weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
