The petitioner is an accused in connection with Bagodar P.S. Case No. 294 of 2025. It has been alleged that the son of the informant who was working in a Delivery Transport Limited had called on 15.11.2025 and disclosed that he is going with his truck to Varanasi to transport iron. On 16.11.2025, the nephew of the informant received a call that the bag of the son of the informant, an amount of Rs. 22,000/- cash and an Aadhar Card have been found. The son of the informant was later on found murdered. Though, submission has been advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner that he has been implicated on the confession of co-accused Daud Khan, but it appears that on the confession of the petitioner, one silver coin and iron wrench as well as the truck were recovered. In such circumstances therefore, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is hereby rejected. This application stands rejected. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.) Dated- 24th March, 2026.
