ORAL ORDER
The petitioner owns a property in Sakleshpura. This property is as seen in the photograph that reads as under, and the petitioner’s property is marked by the Authorities for road widening. The petitioner's apprehension is that the Authorities will act to demolish the building for road widening without acquisition and without due process or compensation.

Sri G R Prakash, the learned counsel for the petitioner, argues for appropriate directions to the Authorities in the light of these apprehensions, proposing to rely upon certain Guidelines issued by the Apex Court. Sri Bopanna Belliappa, a learned Additional Government Advocate who accepts notice for the first to fourth respondents, on instructions, categorically submits the following. - 5 - HC-KAR

[A] The Authorities are indeed on a drive to clear the unauthorised constructions in view of the increasing traffic in the town of Sakleshpura. [B] The Authorities are also undertaking measures to identify the road for widening and as part of this exercise, the petitioner's property is also marked. [C] The Authorities do not propose to undertake any demolition without acquiring interest in the portion that is required for road widening. This Court opines that these submissions redress the petitioner's grievance, and therefore, the petition stands disposed of observing that the respondents shall not, without following due process,
